Around the year 1150, a group of hermit monks gathered on Mt. Carmel to live a solitary life of prayer and contemplation.
In the year 2003, monks of the same tradition were inspired to live this Carmelite Monastic life in the Mountains of Wyoming.
The Carmelite monks are working toward building a monastery near the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Mystic Monk Coffee was established to support the building of this new monastery.
Roasted and flavored especially by the monks.
